Mangalacharan

I offer obeicences to the lotus feet of Sri Gurudeva, guru-varga, and all other vaisnavas, to Srila Rupa Gosvami, his elder brother Sri Sanatana Goswami, Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami, Jiva Goswami and their associates, to Sri Advaita Prabhu, Sri Nityananda Prabhu, Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates, and to the lotus feet of Sri Radha and Krsna accompanied by Sri Lalita and Vishaka and all the other sakhis.

I offer pranama unto Srila Gurudeva, who is the embodiment of all auspiciousness and who bestows all spiritual perfection and happiness

2.  Gurudeva Kripa Bindu Diya
Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura

Gurudeva! Give me a drop of mercy- make this servant more humble than a blade of grass.  Give me the strength to tolerate all eventualities.  Let me not hanker for my own honor and fame.

Give me the power to honor all living entities according to what they are due (and all vaishnavas as befitting their platform).  Then I will be able to chant the holy names blissfully, and all my offences will be vanquished!

O my master! When will I be benedicted with your mercy and finally be successful in my life? I am so fallen that I have no strength or intelligence.  Kindly take my soul and make me like you.

If I examine myself, I find no good qualities; your mercy is the essence of my existence.  If you are not merciful, then bitterly weeping I will no longer maintain my life.

3.  Sakala Vaisnava Gosai
Sri Radha-Mohana dasa

With a straw between my teeth, this very wretched and fallen person is petitioning all the Vaisnavas and Goswamis, "Please give me your mercy."

Sri Guru, the Vaisnavas, and Sri Krsna-Caitanya (and Nityananda Prabhu) should give me shelter at their lotus feet and make me fortunate.

Without receiving the mercy from all of the Vaisnavas, I will be bereft of shelter at the lotus feet of Gaura-Nitai.  I know that I am totally unqualified.

All the Vaisnavas are wish fulfilling trees and an ocean of mercy.  It is my deepest hope that the Vaisnavas will give me their mercy so that I can thus attain the lotus feet of Mahaprabhu.

I have no good qualities and I have commited uncountable offenses, but if you will deliver me (give me bhakti), then everyone will come to know of your glories.

I am praying for taste in nama-sankirtan and for the wealth of prema.  Then this Radha-Mohan dasa will realize you supreme mercy.

4. Akrodha Paramananda
Srila Locana dasa Thakura

The noble Nityananda Prabhu is never angry, for He is the personification of supreme transcendental bliss.  Devoid of false ego, Nitai wanders about the town.

Going from door to door to the houses of the most fallen and wretched souls, He freely distributes the gift of the harinama maha-mantra.

Holding a straw in His teeth, He exclaims to whomever He sees, "You can purchase Me by worshiping Gaurahari!"

Saying thus,  Nityananda Prabhu rolls about on the ground, appearing like a golden mountain tumbling in the dust.

Locana dasa says, "That sinful person who has not experienced the awakening of affection for such an avatara as this simply comes and goes uselessly in the cycle of repeated birth and death."

5.  Gauranga Tumi More
Sri Vasudeva Ghosa

O Gauranga! Please do not fail to bestow Your mercy upon me.  Make me Your own and keep me close to Your reddish lotus feet.

In order to attain Your lotus feet, I have given up everything else.  I have now taken full shelter of Your cooling lotus feet.

Coming in this family or that family- I have left them all behind.  I beg You to keep me close to Your lotus feet, calling me Your own.

Vasudeva Ghosa exclaims, "I have taken tight hold of Your lotus feet! Kindly keep me here, always giving me their soothing shade."

6.  Jaya Jaya Sundara Nanda Kumar

Srila Rupa Gosvami

Refrain:  All glories to You, O beautiful son of Nanda!

You engage in Your vasanta pastimes in Vrindavan, which is fragrant with flowers.

You look very beautiful with your curling hair decorated with a brilliantly shining crown made of sprigs and fresh new leaves.

Your body colored with the red powered dyes thrown by Your beloveds, who offer prayers in the form of sulky rebukes, defeats the beauty of a fresh raincloud.

Your restless sidelong glances cause anuragini Sri Radhika to undergo the ecstatic transformations of unlimited amorous desires.

Your exquisite dancing charms the whole universe while causing Your necklace to sway to and fro on Your chest.

The sweet gentle smile on Your lips incites greed in the gopis' hearts.

You are the eternal well-wisher of Your beloved devotees and You descend to play in their hearts.  [Or:  You are always playing in the heart of my dear most guru and friend, Sanatana Goswami.]

7.  Radha-Nama

Radha-nama is the bestower of the supreme happiness.

May the numerous waves of Sri Syama's love always reside in my heart.

In all my births may I always bow my head to Radha and the vraja-gopis

Radha's glories are indescribable and Her name bestows the supreme happiness.

I will never leave Vraja to go elsewhere and I will always take darsana of rasika saints.

Radha-nama removes attachment to material life and bestows the supreme happiness.

Maha-mantra *Jaya Radha-Ramana haribol*
